....and yes i am pleased with our effort despite defeat. We had a better quality on both ends, and for me it is important for the upcoming games.
1period: 15-18 (very disciplined pick/roll defense)
2period: 13-21 (france dominated the boards)
3period: 14-16
4period: 18-15
We were fighting to the end..France had to keep their bast players on the floor. With Lollo in and little better shooting from the middle range, we could have won the game. By the way, Lollo is ok and I have been told she will be ready to play. She got hit with the elbow to her head, they had to rush her to the hospital to stop bleeding and take some röntgen.
I said before the game, that we are all married while we are here. And in all successful marriages, communication and clearity and understanding is vital. We just work hard one possession at the time and help each other! Defensively we had it. The reason France was successful scoring was their patience and intelligence of the game. Offensively I wanted us to work hard with patience to create a good shot. If we are open-we shoot, otherwise we run play with discipline. I though we did ok. Stefanie had a very good game with 21 pts. Dani/Jessica made some good shots for us. Hanna came in and gave us 5 reb. in 11 min.
Communication level was much higher. I am pleased and see the light for the rest of games. With better 2pt. % we can give us alot of good memories. Our marriage today is pretty solid and no frustrations! I want the girls to enjoy this championship and create friendships. Hard work and tiredness disapear with time, but pride stays forever.

Grattis, det viktigaste är klart, Sverige är kvar i A-gruppen! Nu är det bara att kick asses o se hur långt det räcker. Kommer och suportrar på måndag!
